We believe that a proactive approach to working with the host community is the cornerstone of developing a renewable energy project that is a success for all parties involved. Our projects can bring significant economic, employment and environmental benefits to the regions where they are located. The principals of American Renewables have a long history of building clean, community-friendly power plants, including six of the cleanest gas-fired electric plants in New England. These plants were operated with the utmost attention to community relations.

Design & Engineering

Our staff has significant expertise in the design, permitting and construction of energy projects. We have longstanding relationships with third-party engineering firms, and we know the intricacies involved in managing this complex process.

Financing

Our staff and principals are veterans of project and corporate finance, with expertise in project and construction finance, energy asset investment and management, and value realization. We've successfully raised funds for the construction and operation of projects across economic and financial environments, and have creatively structured projects in order to meet the evolving requirements of investors. Our strong track record and longstanding relationships with a variety of financing sources sets us apart.

The three principal firms of American Renewables — Energy Management Inc., BayCorp Holdings and Tyr Energy — bring a wealth of energy project development, operations, investment and asset management expertise.
